How do I place an order?
One way is by phone, at (415) 389-1770.
The other way is by our 100% secure, on-line ordering system.
To prevent the unauthorized use of your personal information when you
place an order, our server uses the industry standard, Secure Sockets
Layer (SSL) Technology, to encrypt sensitive data such as a credit card
number, address or phone number.
After you have chosen the items you want, the Shopping Cart will total
it, add any sales tax due from our California customers and automatically
add any shipping and handling costs.
Upon completing the transaction, you will be given an Order Confirmation
Number. An email will also be instantly sent to you with an itemized Sales
Receipt and the Order Confirmation Number. Print it and save it for your
records. This is your receipt. If you didn't receive it, contact customer
service. You may have given us the wrong email address, which will hold
up your order.
Statistics show that it is much safer to make an on-line credit card
purchase than it is to make a purchase at a store or restaurant.
Is shipping free?
Yes, all orders are shipped Free, US Postal Service, First Class, Insured.
However, you may also upgrade to UPS 3-Day Select, 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air, at their standard shipping rates.
If you choose UPS, the address cannot be a PO Box because UPS requires a signature for all packages delivered at the address you have provided.
What information will I receive about the order?
You will receive a Shipping Confirmation by email on the same day we
ship. Please print it and save it for your records.
What is your return policy?
We have a 30 day, no questions asked, return policy. That
means you can return or exchange any unworn or unaltered piece of jewelry.
In order to make a return you must first email us at returns@SimplyElegantGemstones.com,
to receive a Return Authorization Number. Please let us know if you would
prefer a credit, a refund or a replacement.
To protect the jewelry, we would prefer that it be returned in the same
packaging it was sent in. Write the Return Authorization Number under
your address on the return package. For your protection, please insure
the package for its full value. Also, you must include a copy of your
Sales Receipt or Invoice.

We will credit your charge card or exchange the jewelry as soon as we
check the condition of the merchandise. We are sorry but we don't pay
return shipping charges unless you were sent the wrong item.
Also, if a package arrives damaged in any way, don't accept delivery.
That's why we insure it. Point out the problem to the delivery person
and then notify us at once, at: support@SimplyElegantGemstones.com.
We'll take care of the rest.
How long does it take before an order is sent?
Generally, an order will be sent out within 3 business days. However,
since we make every piece of jewelry that we sell and since many of our
items are extremely popular it could sometimes take anywhere from 1 to
2 weeks. If there is a delay longer than 3 business days, which is very
seldom, we will notify you by email.
Do you do custom orders?
You can custom order the size of our necklaces, bracelets and anklets.
However, you can't return a custom order.
Also, since all of our products are hand crafted, items may vary slightly
in size or color when compared to the photo.
What is your Privacy Policy?
We keep all your personal information confidential. We do not sell, trade
or exchange customer information or mailing lists with anyone or any business.
Period. Only if you desire, will we email you, from time to time, about
a sneak preview of one-of-a-kind or new items, discounted jewelry or promotions.
Do you collect Sales Tax?
We only collect sales tax from residents of California because that's
where our business is registered.
Do you ship overseas?
Not at the present time but we are looking into the best way to implement
that.
